The Ouseburn Valley is the creative heart of Newcastle. On Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 May 2026 the Ouseburn Open Studios event sees 5 venues open their doors, offering a rare chance to catch a glimpse into the working world of artists and designer-makers.

Expect a huge variety of affordable and original work to buy, from paintings, ceramics, sculpture, jewellery, furniture, prints, flowers and much more to suit everyone’s taste.
It’s also an ideal opportunity to talk to artists about commissioning work or finding out about workshops they hold.
